D-Bug
D-Bug is an educational action-strategy game developed by ChildWare Corporation and published by Electronic Arts in 1983 for the Commodore 64 and Atari 8-bit computers. Ariolasoft subsequently released both versions in Europe.
The game begins with a two-player contest called Gotcha! before the computer running it breaks down. Charlie Fix-It, who lives inside the machine, must locate the fault and repair the bug. The result is a game within a game that introduces the components and failure modes of a home computer through a series of diagnostic challenges.
