Movie Maker

1984 Interactive Picture Systems Electronic Arts Commodore 64 Atari 8-bit Apple II

Movie Maker is an animation construction program developed by Interactive Picture Systems. It lets users draw characters and shapes, assemble them into sequences, add sound effects and play the finished animation at different speeds. Completed movies can be saved as self-playing files that do not require the authoring program.

Originally released for Atari 8-bit computers in 1984, Movie Maker was republished by Electronic Arts in 1985 and appeared on Commodore 64 and Apple II as well. The surviving Apple II packshot confirms Ariolasoft's European edition.
