Saucer Attack

1984 James D. Sachs Ariolasoft Commodore 64

Saucer Attack is James D. Sachs' Commodore 64 shoot-'em-up, released in Europe by Ariolasoft. Alien saucers are attacking Washington, D.C., and the player must destroy them with carefully aimed energy balls. Every missed shot scores for the invaders, so accuracy is essential.

The pace quickens as the battle continues. Score enough points and the player earns a chance to attack the mothership and save the city. The original Ariolasoft packaging promoted the game's high-resolution graphics and rich sound effects.
